Kan takes over Cohn & Wolfe healthcare

Cohn & Wolfe announced the appointment of Mike Kan as Global healthcare leader.
In the role, Kan will oversee the strategic development of Cohn & Wolfe's global healthcare practice one of the largest in the industry with more than 300 healthcare communications professionals around the world.
His responsibilities include client relationships, providing senior counsel, new business development, generating thought leadership and developing senior talent.
Kan will start March 1 and be based in London, reporting directly to Donna Imperato, CEO of Cohn & Wolfe.
Mike joins Cohn & Wolfe from Edelman where he was head of healthcare for the EMEA region responsible for network integration, business development and client satisfaction.
He assumes the role from Linda Dyson who will lead Cohn & Wolfe's healthcare public affairs offering, one of the agency's major business areas for 2010 and beyond.
