Gold Standard Awards announced


ING accepts award from sponsor Fleishman-Hillard

Senior PA practitioners, diplomats and political and trade figures have gathered in Hong Kong to hear the winners of the first Gold Standard Awards for political and corporate communications.

 

The Gold Standard Awards were presented on Thursday with PublicAffairsAsis honouring the work of organisations including Weber Shandwick, ING and Save The Children.

Weber Shandwick took the coveted prize of The Gold Standard in Public Affairs Consultancy, and Asia chief Tim Sutton was present in Hong Kong to accept the prize.

ING's Asia Corporate Communications team took the top award for in-house public affairs, sponsored by Fleishman-Hillard, while CARE Bangladesh secured The Gold Standard in Sustainability.

DBS secured The Gold Standard in Crisis Communications, whilst the coveted Gold Standard Award for Government Relations went to Parker & Partners for its work on behalf of Veolia.
